Vader Immortal: A Star Wars is the new VR Series/experience by ILMxLAB. It will be virtual reality, debuting later this year on Oculus Quest headsets. Will this new series capture the deep base of Star Wars fandom? Oculus is betting on it.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series will be set on Mustafar, and according to the press release “with lightsaber in hand, puts you at the center of an original Star Wars story, a canonical immersive adventure set between the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope.”
That sounds like a good time. However, without introducing new characters, new story lines and building a reason to watch a headset driven series, Vader could fall flat.
